On Saturday we took the train to a town in the French Alps called Annecy. Most importantly, it has a gorgeous lake that you can SWIM in. It's been around 85-95 degrees here in Lyon and we've found that Europeans just aren't too big on air conditioning. We are so accustomed to being comfortable most of the time, silly Americans we are. So we took the train to Annecy to cool down a little.
We took a boat ride to see this château, which is a private residence by the way.
People call Annecy the Venice of France because of the canals.
Train ride home. One of the great things about traveling in Europe.
