Clinton & Alexandria

One week after Russia the whole family got together again for none other than my brother Clinton's wedding. We were all still jet lagged, there were over 20 people sleeping in my parents' house, and it was lively and glorious.

I experienced a horde of emotions that day. Happy Clinton found someone wonderful, sad that that means I'm no longer his #1, relieved that there was air conditioning at the reception, fortunate that I could see so many old friends in one place, and excited that Clinton married a red head because he's always had major thing for them.

The People

This is quite a lot of photos but what can I say, we just really like these people.

Bride & Groom

We just received our wedding photos in the mail! We're getting them about a year late, but we're just happy to have them now. Our awesome photographer, Allison Cox, shoots with film so it takes a bit longer to scan the photos. More photos are coming.

Mark and Kendra's Wedding

The day after finals I jetted down to California for my brother-in-law's wedding at the Newport Beach Temple.

A few choice moments:

- The maternity bridesmaid dresses (Kendra's sister was 8 months pregnant)

- My father-in-law's fascination with checking the weather all over the world with his new iphone. (If you want to know the weather in quito, he's your man.)

- Kendra having no shame about eating ribs with her fancy wedding nails.

- Playing Scattergories with the family. For the letter O under presidents, only one person put Obama.

It rained almost the whole day but everyone was still so happy. There were gaps in the rain just long enough for them to take some great photos, so it all worked out!
