The Spring

Things are just starting to get good here in Beantown. I took my last final yesterday, and Nathan and I are going on a trip to Russia with my entire family (minus Fielding) in a week!

Anyway, here are a few photos of lovely springtime.

Boston with Michael

My brother Michael came to town for a job interview! (Hence the suit) We had such a fun weekend -- fine art, the Barking Crab, a visit to Harvard, and a run by the Charles.

Becoming a Bostonian

For us to really seem like we really belong here, Nate had to get some sweater vests and fancy shoes, become a Red Sox fan, and I had to buy a huge puffer coat and spend my weekends buying fanciful treats (below) and shopping at Whole Foods.
When I first arrived in Boston it was freezing, our apartment was a mess, and I was trying my hand at living downtown without a car (which was not very fun). The first week was pretty unpleasant but everything is great now. I have my routine, the apartment is so much more organized, and I'm figuring everything out. And also, I am loving it here.

Pictured above is what Nate looks like as a bright-eyed young consultant and me having some birthday cupcake (we're just so trendy now).

Boston

In September Nate started his new job at L.E.K Consulting and thankfully, he likes it!  (It's so weird actually having an income by the way.) He walks to work everyday through Boston Common, buys fancy shoes, hangs out with his classy new friends and watches the Boston Symphony.

I live next door to my parents (ok so my life isn't quite as glamourous as Nate's) and I commute to Provo a few times a week for classes at BYU.  I'm busy but good, and I like  being close to my family.  Every few weekends I fly to Boston to visit Nate and we talk on the phone every day.  I'm joining Nate in Boston in the beginning of January, where I will then finish my last 4 classes and finally graduate! (Then try to find a job)

here is a photo of our tiny 500 square foot apartment in downtown Boston:
